People and Animal Wellbeing Services CIC

People and Animal Wellbeing Services CIC

People and Animal Wellbeing Services provides animal assisted interventions to schools, care facilities, businesses, prisons and to the public. Our interventions improve emotional health and wellbeing to those that take part. We offer four main programmes using Animal Assisted Interventions: A counselling and therapies programme, running one to one private counselling sessions with the support of a dog. A wellbeing programme, running practical and creative activities that enhance the service users wellbeing, social skills and self esteem. An educational programme that aims to reengage or support those struggling to access mainstream curriculums, we take ASDAN short courses in Animal Handling and Life Skills and use Animal assisted activities to support their wellbeing. Finally, we provide training and support to organisations and individuals that wish to train and work with their own animals therapeutically. We are advocates for the people and animals we work with and consider the wellbeing of all that are involved with PAWS.
