We were set up in 2003 to address deep seated inequalities by providing free or cost-effective equality and employment Law legal advice to individuals or businesses. Our services include legal advice and representation for individuals who have no access to justice or want advice about a workplace matter whilst still employed. We provide a free employment and discrimination telephone assistance line to people who have nowhere else to turn. We also provide cost effective HR/Legal Services to employers. This includes working with employers to raise awareness and provide training to enable them to comply with equality and employment law and apply best practice. Equality Law goes beyond employment related issues and applies to all organisations which provides any goods or services to members of the public. Our aim is to raise their awareness of equality and their obligations to comply.
