Slow Dog Movement

Slow Dog Movement

The Slow Dog Movement promotes the value of ‘slowing down’ by educating dog guardians to observe their dog, slow down, and become aware of his/her body language so they will grow to enjoy the relationship they have with their dog and thus improve their dog’s health, behaviour, and, in turn, their own wellbeing. Create and grow a membership portal for committed individuals to foster the evolution of human awareness and dog wellbeing through greater understanding of what dogs really need (dog ethogram) in their lives as the movement grows online and ‘on the ground.’ Creating learning opportunities for dog guardians to experience self-development by providing high quality speakers such as vets, dog professionals, and other educators enabling individuals and groups to positively enhance and improve the life of their dog and share this ethos within their community and further afield.
