Re-imagine Resource Centre

Re-imagine Resource Centre

At Re-Imagine we are always finding creative ways to help look after our planet by collecting materials that businesses normally just throw away and was started in 2013 for two reasons. First, to help save and use the materials we already have on our planet, and second, to help people who would like to use art, craft and play materials but can’t afford them. The centre is a hub of creative energy and is a lot of folks happy place, an environment where children can touch things and adults can share and learn. We are uniquely linked to the community to really help make a difference by providing education about a sustainable lifestyle, through our Community Kitchen and Solidarity Larder. We realise that waste material is a valuable resource and re-use wins over recycling because it does not involve any reprocessing and industrial processing which produces pollution. We want to play a part in addressing the global challenges we face, including those related to the environment, food waste, well-being, poverty, inequality and social injustice.
