We have 2 branches of the business: Equine Rehabilitation and Retirement home: We plan to offer homes to horses who are facing neglect or lack of care due to owners financial situation. We plan to offer a long term home at the sanctuary to those horses in need who have little chance of being homed on long term loan agreements. Where possible we aim to rehabilitate horses and secure permanent homes for them on long term loan agreements, where Golden Oldies CIC maintains ownership and safeguarding responsibilities. We intend to educate people in positive training methods and natural horsemanship. Help prevent isolation & loneliness to young carers through horse activities: We intend to provide activities with horses to alleviate isolation and loneliness for young carers.(under 18) We intend to help to build a support network for young carers by creating a place they can meet for activities with the equines and other young carers.
