Setovilla CIC

Setovilla CIC

Setovilla aims to encourage education in children who belong to low socio-economic communities. The primary income stream of Setovilla is the sale of food and drink products which include a range of nutritious Hibiscus drinks called ‘ọkọ’. The profits from the products are used to collate and distribute Setobags to children who fall within the age group of 5 – 11 years old. In developing countries, each Setobag contains stationery (i.e., basic instruments in a standard pencil case), notepads, select fiction/non-fiction books, arithmetic workbooks and puzzle books. In the UK, each Setobag contains a digital tablet. We do not exist to replace traditional forms of education but to support children who are more likely to not finish basic education by encouraging vulnerability through innovation and creativity.
