Huckleberries Nurture Farm CIC

Huckleberries Nurture Farm CIC

Huckleberries nurture farm works with children and young people to enhance their emotional and mental well-being, through therapeutic contact with animals, combined with the teaching of well-being techniques such as yoga, art, mindfulness and journaling. Our primary aim is to help children develop skills to adjust the way they think about, react to and cope with day-to-day challenges, so they may be comfortable with who they are and so ease the transition into their teenage years. We work with small groups of children through our schools nurture programme of 12 weekly 2 hour sessions. We also offer a 6 week mini programme, one-off school sessions and 1:1 sessions. Through third party funding and income generating activities we aim to offer fully and part funded places to schools who are in financial need. See our website for further details At huckleberries we aim to halt the progressive decline in young people's mental health through early in intervention at a young age.
