Stitched Up is a not-for-profit organisation on a mission to inspire our community to take action on sustainable fashion. We share skills and resources that insire and enable people to dress in a more creative and sustainable way. Our aim is to make sustainable clothing choices more accessible for all, in order to advance human wellbeing and environmental sustainability. We do this by offering a range of activities and resources to enagage members of the community in practical solutions, including clothes swaps, sewing, clothes making, mending and upcycling workshops and courses, community repair events, campaigning, educational events and providing access to sustainable materials that have been diverted from landfill. We also offer volunteering and work placements that provide quallity work experience and bring likeminded people together.
