Life with Dyslexia

Life with Dyslexia

The overall aim is to provide impartial and objective support to those with learning needs in society whist working closely with educational establishments to identify the importance of this. We work towards reducing the number of people with various learning disabilities, experiencing disadvantage in society. Through the use of group workshops, confidence building sessions for children and young people in schools, Pupil referral Units, colleges, and universities,1 to 1 consultation for parents, we support, empower and educate about invisible learning disabilities, such as dyslexia and dyspraxia. Our organisation assists with assessments to identify learning needs at early stages and avoid exclusion from mainstream school. Advice, techniques and information about relevant assessments is explored with parents. We strive to ensure that those with learning disabilities are not excluded from society but are instead assisted to use their learning disabilities as a gift, not a hinderance and achieve their full potential.
