We are increasing public engagement in the arts, boosting community connectedness and using art as a tool to enhance well-being. Through art we are breaking down community divisions, decreasing social isolation and highlighting that mental health matters. ​Thurrock’s involvement in art and culture is significantly below the national average. Yet, engagement in the arts should be inclusive and available for all, it should not be dependent on where you live or your social, educational or financial circumstances.
