Silverback Project CIC

Silverback Project CIC

The Silverback Project is a Community Interest Company, which began, in early 2013. Our aim is to positively engage young people and adults that are not in employment, education or training and those that have experienced mental and emotional breakdown or difficulties and wish explore new opportunities and rebuild their lives. The project has worked on a number of community projects funded by the Big Lottery and has been commissioned by Schools and local councils. We have partnered with, collaborated and engaged with various community groups and local organisations over the years. Our activities include Carpentry to increase creative, practical and vocational skills, designing and creating for enterprise. One of the most positive developments for Silverback project has been with developing positive action through Volunteering which improves confidence, engages our trainees in work based experiences - enriches their social skills and encourages participation, developing interest by engaging in activities that they would not necessarily be involved in.
