Castlebank Horticultural Centre is located within Castlebank Park in Lanark, Scotland. The centre employs a full time Educational Gardener and provides a variety of educational, training and volunteering opportunities for all ages. The centre is an approved delivery centre for The Royal Horticultural Society. The centre has the facility to deliver virtual or in-person training, at the Lanark centre or at the site of the procuring organisation within central Scotland. The centre can offer teacher training or educational sessions for young people ranging from Nursery, Primary, Secondary to Higher Education. The centre also offers community gardening volunteer opportunities which are accessible to people of all ages. Training can be delivered to a range of private or public sector organisations. Bespoke tailored training programmes can be created to suit your needs. These opportunities can cover a wide variety of horticultural and environmental topics, such as: biodiversity, sustainability, growing fruit and vegetables, plant classification, permaculture and garden management.
