Digital People in Peterborough

Profile

Digital People in Peterborough (DPiP) is a non-profit community group, run by three volunteer directors, to raise the profile of Peterborough's digital sector. With over 850 members, we host free-to-attend monthly meetup events which regularly attract 40-50 members each time. There is no cost for attending the meetups as we aim to make ourselves as accessible as possible, supporting anyone with an interest in digital. DPiP was founded with the aim of bringing together all of the digital talent and workforce within Peterborough to form a community around a common interest, enabling knowledge sharing and growth of skills. Over the past ten years, we have altered our focus to also supporting the mental health of those within our community, which is predominantly populated by a majority of solo workers who utilise our meetings as an opportunity to meet likeminded people.
