CMB is a new social enterprise positioned between a charity and a fully commercial enterprise, therefore any operating surplus will be re-invested into the organisation. As a non- profit organisation, it would enjoy some concessions, including the “Section 22” community bus permit, which lowers the cost of providing services. The proposed organisation aims to achieve on the following social objectives: 1. To enhance the wellbeing through provision of mobility services; 2. To increase community involvement and ownership in their local bus services; and 3. To promote the habit and culture of using public transport.
