C.A.R.E. (Herefordshire) CIC

C.A.R.E. CIC is a local initiative operating in the South Golden Valley are of South Herefordshire. We provide 'that little bit of help' to older and more vulnerable of adults who wish to remain living independently in their own homes. We provide social activities to help combat 'loneliness and social isolation'. We are members of The Alzheimers Society' and are 'Dementia Champions'. We actively engage with local residents, businesses and clubs promoting dementia awareness. Our activities include a Craft Cafe, which operates daily, providing cognitive stimulative arts and crafts activities. We have close working relationships with The Golden Valley GP Practice and as such provide a free repeat 'Prescription Delivery Service'. C.A.R.E. CIC provides daily lunch clubs and provides a 'Village-Link' service (funded by The Big Lottery) in order to help older residents who no longer drive, attend village appointments.
